Capt. Marc was born and raised in eastern NC and has been fishing the local waters his whole life. He earned his Captains license in 2005 and Bad Habit Sportfishing was born. He has been commercially fishing for Bluefin Tuna,wahoo and Mahi since the late nineties and competes in the Southern Kingfish Association SKA tournament trail.

Some of the notable achievements of the Bad Habit Fishing Team are, 1st place 2004 Topsail king mackeral tournament 23 and under division,  2004 Swansboro Rotary 1st place lady angler and 3rd place boat 23 and under. 2007 division 2 open class 4th place overall for the year,2007 division 2, 2nd place lady angler overall for the year and many top 10 and top 20 finishes. The Team has been on a little bit of a vacation since the birth of our son in 2009 but we hope to get back at it soon.

Our goal at Bad Habit Sportfishing is simple and that is to ensure that every charter is one the client will remember and talk about for years to come.
